Typical electric small company. Not much room for advancement. They hire cheap guys with no experience, and expect foreman to produce quality products with unskilled labor

A small company with great customers
Apprentice to Journeyman electrician (Former Employee) –  San Diego, CAJanuary 25, 2013
Show up to work and ready the work truck for the day. I would be handed my list for the day and be expected to complete the list of jobs before the day was done. Sometimes conditions or product was not perfect but there is always field modification that can be done. I learned something from everybody even "less skilled" employees. Somebody always knows more than you and dont ever be afraid to ask for help. The hardest part of my job is having to pick up the pace and slow it way down when neccessary. I thrive off of challenge and competition and that gives me the drive to do what I have to fo to get the job done on time.
Pros
great customers, great staff and the right tools for the job.
Cons
no benefits
