West Shore Home promotes a Drug Free Workplace policy and expects all employees to comply. Some positions require a DOT physical prior to employment in which candidates will be screened according to DOT outlines.
I look forward to working for WS. I have experience at doing everything that is required of your installers as well as the sellling function.
What tips or advice would you give to someone interviewing at West Shore Home?
Be yourself there is nothing worst than you coming to an interview as if you this person when you know you are somebody else. Be authentic and true. They appreciate honesty and full ownership.
Human Resources will order the background check upon receipt of the signed release form, and an employment screening service will conduct the checks. A designated HR representative will review all results and determine if a candidate meets our requirements.
If you were in charge, what would you do to make West Shore Home a better place to work?
Make sure all mid-level managers know what the people on their teams do. Add more PTO (only 2 weeks for the first several years is not enough), team building, show appreciation for employees don't just say you appreciate us.
If your resume seems like a good fit for the position you applied for you will get a call from a recruiter for a phone interview. If they feel you would be a good fit for the team that's hiring, you get an in-person interview with the manager and/or team lead. If they think you're the best fit out of everyone they interviewed you'll get an offer.
The stressful part can be pushing past the customers negative energy sometimes and finding that win win solution.
