Well organized with the highest level or professionalism
Temporary Employee (Former Employee) –  Lewisburg, WVMay 10, 2016
WVSOM is one of the most efficient and effective organizations I have been associated with. They operate with the highest level of professionalism, treat their employees with great respect, and are highly successful. They promote from within and offer great benefits to employees. They are truly a point of pride for West Virginia as one of the top osteopathic schools in the nation.
Pros
Good pay and benefits, promotes from within
Cons
Often must work part time/temporary before being considered for a full time position

The work environment is positive all around! The people are friendly, caring, and are open to your perspective. Everyone is there for one positive, common goal. The most enjoyable part of the job are the loving, caring staff!

A good place to work.
Administrative Applications Software Spec Sr. (Current Employee) –  LewisburgJune 16, 2014
This has been a good place to work, but can be difficult to advance within the organization due to internal politics. As an IT professional, I get to spend a great deal of time working with new and interesting technology.
Pros
Professional training, ample personal and vacation time
Cons
Difficult to advance, limited income potential.
