Never. Adjunct professors only get raises after they have worked there 20 semesters. The contract favors full-time professors even though they automatically deduct union dues from your paychecks. The Union does not help Adjuncts at all.

Sometimes your first class starts at 8am and then you have to wait 2 or 3 hours to teach your next class, and Adjunct professors have no offices where they can wait

Do not work there. The administrators do not respect faculty no matter how much experience you have.

One must get contacted by the work study office and then they'll give intructions

I worked there as part of their work studies so it was pretty simple. I had to find a building to work in and get authorizations from professor and technicians at the school
