Written by Grand Canyon Agent (Former Employee) from Las Vegas, NV on January 9, 2019
It really depended on your department. I was in marketing which was less stressful and competitive than the sales department. I really enjoyed working as a Grand Canyon Agent. I felt I was not selling adventure tours so much as selling memories and anecdotes. I feel I helped people improve their quality of life by facilitating a once in a lifetime experience.
Pros
I got to take free trips to the adventures I marketed, including helicopter tours of the Grand Canyon
Cons
Some months were very slow so my paycheck reflected that
