Wheatstate Manor was a facility that assisted senior citizens during their last years of life.
Cerftified Nurse Aide (Former Employee) –  Whitewater, KSMay 29, 2018
A typical day involved taking care of senior citizens that needed daily care. I enjoyed helping within that area of need. The hardest part of the job was lifting very heavy people that had no control of their bodies.

It was a light and jokey atmosphere.
Volunteer (Former Employee) –  Whitewater, KSJuly 6, 2014
We would do the Filing, then shred papers. Every once and a while I would go get someone or get out letters or notes. I learned about sheduling and computer work. Everyone always knew what had to be done next and how to do it. The people I worked with were neat and willing to help when I had questions. the hardest part was the writing for the newsletter. The best part was talking to all the old folks.
