Don't do too much
Wheels Ebike Mechanic (Current Employee) –  Los Angeles, CAJuly 3, 2019
Once they realize you are capable of doing more than one thing they will try to abuse it. They will attempt to over work you and unless you stand up to them they will continue too.

Great pay.

All of the managers are cool when face to face, but will talk about other employees negatively when they walk away.

Speaking of walking away... Managers often will walk away and look very uninterested in anything you have to say.

The managers are overseeing mechanics and their jobs when they don't eve have the skills or knowledge to do the job themselves.

Hours were cut and no one that works gets more than 35.

You don't work for WHEELS you work for a temp agency.

Terrible management
Field Operator (Former Employee) –  San Diego, CAApril 30, 2019
The work itself was straightforward and easy but management was terrible. There was no communication between different aspects of the team. Multiple people were let go spontaneously with no reason as to why and the staff that remained was not told why either. Management didn't address any employee issues, employees were often ignored by their supervisors, and job security was nonexistent.

New Company
Operations Lead (Former Employee) –  San Diego, CAApril 29, 2019
Job advancement for myself was quick, I got in early when the company was still learning and taking its first steps. Management does not know answers to crew questions. Employees do not have job security, they could be fired just because upper management does not like them. Policies and procedures are not enforced. It was a great financial opportunity, but the emotional, and physical impacts of the job were not worth the compensation. Great group of people who have good energy and are great to be around. Procedures and guidelines need to be put in place if they want to be known as a good company to work for.
