Clinical Technician in Allenwood, PA

Things are improving. Some management are good at their job while folks with zero management capabilities try to lead. Things are growing and becoming more solidified since the transition/buy of acadia.
Licensed Practical Nurse in Lancaster, PA
on July 20, 2021
I've worked at White Deer Run since 2014, and I absolutely love my job! The patients are hands-down the best part, but my coworkers, management, and the overall work environment are top-notch as well! The pay is very competitive (especially for the field), the hours are great, and there are a lot of opportunities for advancement.
Behavioral Health Technician in Bethlehem, PA
on June 22, 2021
The clients are in a room all day and will get angry with the behavioral tech/staff. You only have keys and a radio and you are the only staff working with up to 30 angry adults who are detoxing. The location is also very dangerous.
LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) in York, PA
on May 26, 2021
It was very rewarding working in detox. Night-shift was laid back and we were usually able to get work done and ready for 1st shift. Pay could have been much better.
Clinical Director in York, PA

White Deer Run is a beautiful place to work. The staff is awesome and family oriented, and truly care about the patients. Paperwork is easy if you have the right person training.

Interview Questions

They were so desperate to get another staff member that they just asked me when I could start and had me go for a drug test. They don’t care who you are or what you did before as long as you’re a warm body ready to start. They will hire anyone. They even hired a girl that came to work high on heroin. The turnover rate there is unbelievable. 40+ people in 3 years! You’ll be able to get the job with no problem but you’ll regret it as soon as you start.
