Basically this job is for people who are retired or have another source of income. Simply cannot live off of what you make there. Great staff, all supervisors are friendly and respectful. Job itself isn't bad. Just doesn't pay enough. That's it.

Loved the work I did there. But, need to be a lot more recognized for the work performed. Need more better pay & insurance. Management needs to stand by there hard working employees, & stop letting some employee’s do the management job. Need ALOT more backing & support from the board. The children are there to learn & we need to make it more enjoyable learning & make consequences harder the 1st time on disruptive behavior, stop babying the bad behaviors.

About 6 months after being hired, the entire district took a 17% pay cut. We had a vehicle repossessed, and had to refinance our house.
This was the worst financial decision of my life but, I had the honor of being my niece's high school counselor; as well, as my own children's, and I never missed award assemblies, special lunches, or field trips.
