CASHIER ASSISTANT/FRONTRUNNER in Ashburn, Virginia

Excellent Work Environment
Well-compensated relative to similar jobs in area. Collaborative work environment with excellent coworkers. Quickly paced due to common staff shortages; but this is made up for by the quality of existing staff.
In Store Shopper/Enhanced Sanitation in Naples, FL
on June 18, 2021
I have worked at whole foods for 8 months, 4 of them as in store shopper and 4 as enhanced sanitation. I loved being an in store shopper because it gave me freedom and the time went fast. It seems over time, red tape and additional responsibilities have been placed on shoppers. You now need to consult with a team member if an item is missing for their barcode, you cannot be trusted to offer replacements on your own. It is also performance based and you won't be allowed to work beyond the contract if your rate is below 60. Also a new cool liner bag you need to set up yourself because it's better for the environment. As for enhanced sanitation, it will be a dying job. The responsibilities are decreasing as the fear of Covid does. I am thankful we are making moves to reduce the time spent protecting against Covid but this can mean a lost job for some. Cleaning tables and carts is hardly fulfilling work but that's over, it is just scanning team members now.
Store Support in Highlands Ranch, CO
on June 18, 2021
While I enjoyed my time at whole foods that was becase of the people at my location. The people I worked with were great the leader ship was super supportive and helped as much as they could. But corporate made that job hard ever week there were new rules and ways of doing things. This on its would not have been bad but often times these changes would be overnight. You would walk in Start working and be told half way through your shift something major had changed and get in trouble for not following the new rules you did not even know about. Additionally corporate would make impossible request of our store becase there data told them it should be possible without understanding the actual situation in store.

I enjoyed working here. Had fun working here and had great co-workers. Managers were pretty cool also. Overall I’d recommend working here. Great, fun, not bad.
Dishwasher/Prep Cook in Chicago, IL

It was alright. good workers all around. Politics played a big role on who would get a raise or who became manager. There were days where one would feel over worked.
