Really bad place to work. You are just a number to them not an employee. They are ultra paranoid about non existent unions and send other departments into yours to try and get you fired. Its a creepy, hostile, untrustworthy store. This is coming from a butcher. Go to a real store.
Yes, this company cares about it's own needs above all. You will work when the computer schedules you, unless you have a school schedule. Even then they may not work with you.
In two years I've had about 3 weekends off. And that's including time when I've had one of the weekend days off and worked the other.
The schedule is unfair. You work every weekend. And is constantly changing. It was a full time job just keeping up with the schedule.

Yes! What the stores do in sales over Sat and Sun equates the 5 weekdays if sales. The weekend, alone, is half of their income. I had worked for WFM for 10 years, and that never changes.
The hours at my location are horrible they don’t honor the agreements between employees as discussed when they hired and my staff has to check schedule daily for updates changes to schedule
