Wilco Farmers Careers and Employment

About us
Wilco is a cooperative, or co-op, owned by local farmers. The original roots date back to the early 1900's when farmers joined together to help purchase supplies at reasonable prices through local co-op branches. In 1967, five of these local co-ops joined together and created Wilco, which stands for Willamette Valley Consolidation.

Wilco has evolved
 – more... a lot in the past 50 years. Today, your farmer-owned co-op has four business units offering products and services to those we can help; Bulk Propane & Fuel delivery, Hazelnut Processing & Marketing, Professional Agronomy with Valley Agronomics, and your new Lake Oswego locations joins the Farm Store business unit.

Did you know that Wilco is one of only six businesses in Oregon and SW Washington to be named a Top Workplace for 8 consecutive years? If you want to join the team, check out wilcojobs.com.

Community Involvement:

-Each year Wilco gives over 1,000 donations to support our local communities. (Visit www.wilco.coop/community)

-We believe in supporting agriculture and have raised over $1 million through our FFA Forever program. (Donating over $150,000 each year to Oregon and Washington FFA)

-Each year Wilco attends over 20 Youth Livestock Auctions at fair and bids on over 1,000 animals with purchases and contributions to over 100 animals in support of the kid's hard work.

-Wilco provides programs to help groups and businesses. From Youth Accounts for 4H, FFA & Equestrian projects to Military and Senior discounts, and Farm, Stable, Contractor & Landscapers programs.

-We offer pet food discounts to Four-Legged Police officers. (Thank You K9 Units!)

-Wilco provides a Community Support Program for Dog Parks, Community Gardens and Sports Fields to help offset supply needs

Great for students and people seeking part time
Written by Warehouseman (Current Employee) from McMinnville, OR on January 18, 2020
Not a horrible place to work. I've definitely worked for worse employers. Great for students or somebody seeking part-time. Overall a pretty good work environment. Only real complaints are difficult management and not full time
