Excellent employer

Indeed Featured review

The most useful review selected by Indeed
Non-stressful, supportive, opportunities for learning and advancement, very balanced life/work culture, on-site gym, excellent benefits, and pay. I've worked in four states. To find an employer like Wiley's in Coshocton was an unexpected stroke of luck. It has been an honor to work here for the last 10+ years.

Pros

Do your job well and management stays out of your hair, gym, benefits, pay

Culture and Values

This company is unlike any I've ever worked for. They not only care about their employees, but the impact they have on this community and this world. I am appreciated for what I do and encouraged to learn and professionally better myself. The environment is happy and my coworkers love their jobs as well.

Pros

Work/Life Balance, Great Leadership, Amazing Benefits

Great Place to work

Wiley’s is very flexible with schedules. They pay very well and have amazing benefits. They treat their employees very well. It is very family oriented. This is the best company I have ever worked for because they actually care about you as person instead of as just another employee.

Great people and an amazing place to work.

I learned so much working here. The people are amazing and are really kind and helpful. This was my first real job and I was super nervous, but the people here were very accepting and understanding of me. I loved working here and was incredibly sad when I left to go to college.

Challenges

This company is not a team environment. You will experience a Boss and not so much a Leader. If you are not labeled right away, you can grow in your role. Most of the employees unsure of the companies overall plan.

Challenging environment and work.

This facility is partially contract based for production needs, meaning there will be times when you work overtime every week and some times your department is out of tasks or not needed. Anyone with a position of engineer or higher usually has difficulty communicating with laborers(at time of this review) but the atmosphere and environment are friendly and have great people employed

Good place to work, good company culture

Organic Technologies is a great family owned company to work for. However, issues surround the previous way of doing things (ie family ownership says something and everyone makes it happen) vs a new corporate business strategy driven approach. Change is frequently fighting between the previous generation of family and the new with the old winning out. Change is hard at any company but it's extremely difficult for this one due to its conflicting corporate culture and management powers.

Pros

Free beverages, flexible schedule, family oriented coworkers

Cons

Management philosophical conflicts that extend to the lowest tier of employee.

A great place to work with great people

This company is fast growing, with new challenges every day due to the new products that are always coming on-line. The culture values entrepreneurship and cooperation. Over the next few years there will be a lot of staff level changes creating growth opportunities for talent and motivated people. The CEO's door is always open. In fact, he has a cube just like the rest of us.

Pros

Great benefits, competitive wages, stable work force

Cons

Located in a small town without much to do

Industrial chemical manufacturing, respectful co-workers

fast paced work environment, good for self starters. Lots of opportunity for self improvement. Start and end times for work are flexible for salaried employees, only occasional need to stay late or come in early. Learned a lot about industrial chemical processing equipment and procedures, since nearly everyone is willing to answer questions or direct you to resources.

Pros

fast paced work environment, lots of opportunity for self determination

Cons

supervisor support intermittent, leadership direction sometimes unclear

Constant change of product and test method

I learned alot of different test methods and lab equipment. The hardest part was how the product always changed and it required constant reading and training. Then once you had it down the product changed.I enjoyed knowing I was working for a company that had good ethics.

Pros

good company ethics

Cons

shift changed often as did the product tested
