What is the vacation policy like at Willamette Dental? How many vacation days do you get per year?

The amount of paid time off (PTO) accrued varies based upon position held with Willamette Dental Group, years of service, and the number of hours worked each week. Our PTO accruals were recently updated, so currently most employees (who are not managers or dentists) and work 40 hours per week will accrue 120 hours of PTO during their first year. That increases to 160 after the first anniversary, and goes up again after 3rd and 6th anniversaries as well.
Generous PTO
Very slow to accrue PTO. Lowest accrual rate of anywhere I've worked in the past 15 years.
Start with 3 weeks and you receive a week every year.

Very generous vacation time. One of the nice things is, your actually encouraged to take your PTO. There is enough staff, that most all requests can be approved and accommodated.
Vacation was grate before COVID 19 when they made all of their employees use all paid time off before getting unemployment so everyone got to go back with no pto which is also used the same as sick pay
You get up to 120 hours a year
9 paid holidays including Black Friday but must work the next day if you are scheduled to work on that Saturday after Black Friday or request PTO which you are only allowed to request 2 Saturdays off per year
