If you start early in a year you could go almost two years before a paid vacation.. they talk big on profit sharing but you must be employed for over 2 years to qualify, this could involve high travel requirements
Lots of hours and work when your not being rained out. There are no guaranteed hours in the case of rainouts. Two shifts are available night and day shift. Very competitive and fast-paced. Low wage scale but checks are manageable mostly because of the hours.

they are not friendly and are quick to through employee under the bus. Not understanding if you have kids or family emergencies. They are only concern about how to get the job done even if it takes more than 12 hrs in that day.
Forget this company. You will be stressed by their unreasonable demands
Project Superintendent (Former Employee) – Peoria, IL – December 12, 2017
Project Managers were inexperienced and not helpful with their contributions to the projects. Other employees were very cut throat and will back stab you by trying to make you look bad. Very clicky with the core group. Owners only look at their bottom line profits and always blame the field crew for every misgiving. Never their fault.

Management is often callus and unwilling to work with employees to follow health an safety standards set by the state. Company handbook supplied to employees is ignored and hours outside of the set schedule are "not optional".
williams brother construction has a lot of work at this time. when the weather permits. But in the terms of of pay they are one of the lowest i ever worked for. They are a profit sharing company and the equipment is old.
Drove an End Dump/Belly Dump on many different projects. Trucks were old with high mileage and getting mechanical work done was a problem at times. Below market pay made it necessary to work 7 days a week to earn a decent living. And bad weather days hurt. Trucking supervisor was a miserable a**hole
Great company. Company showed appreciation for jobs well done.
Secretary (Former Employee) – Houston, TX – December 16, 2015
Good Company. Employees would come to our office to fill out applications. I would make sure they were complete and had all the proper ids, make copies of it and send over to our main office for processing. When needed I would type up recorded messages by the Vice President to the State office about construction jobs we were working on. Took care of ordering supplies.
