The job is great. The residents and staff are lovely. Sadly, management just simply doesn’t care about your life outside of the job. They have a “mandatory overtime” policy. They will force you into working 16 hour shifts against your will if there is a call out (or if the scheduler just doesn’t bother to fill a shift, she does that sometimes) and threaten your job if you don’t stay. Often times, you do not find out that you are staying until 10 minutes before you are supposed to clock out dues to poor communication. They don’t care if you have kids or another job, if they say you’re staying, you’re staying. Call outs are a big problem because everyone is afraid they will be forced to stay and work another 8 hours. Lately, there has been a lot of staff leaving so the “mandations” are becoming more frequent. Sometimes multiple times a week. This job would be so perfect if they didn’t have this policy. It really is a nice place to work. What a shame they can’t keep employees.

I enjoyed working here, only had to leave due to inability to find a house to rent within an hour of facility . Everyone works like a team and are upbeat and friendly

Coworkers are great but the senior leadership is bad. Big disconnect by what employees need and what is provided to many non skilled leaders that have no purpose and people that actually provide care and meet patient and resident needs are overlooked and under paid.

Loved working there. Co workers were a joy working with, If I were still living in the area I would go back. My manager was awesome, very helpful to me.
