Great question! I would always lead from a place of integrity and honesty. Giving false hopes leads people to assume and when it doesn’t work out trust is lost. Smile often, say thank you more. I don’t think you lose your sense of control or position by lifting others up even when there are days you have to do the tough part and act as a disciplinary. Show compassion and always try to keep those you oversee trust, when it’s broken so is the team. Transcend with times that are changing.
