If you are trying to work with computers later on in life, I really recommend you intern at OIT with Wilmington Public schools. You don't get paid, but its a good start that leads you in the right direction.
For substitute teaching they treated me very fairly and paid me properly for the amount of work I had to do. It was a temporary job so that I could have more time to get myself into the industry that I prefer so it was perfect for the time being.
Staff is divided among the school . This always causes tension. The management won't stand up for their staff. They are very disorganized and do not care about their employees. The goal for the students is to pass tests, not to actually learn things.
-All schools I have been involved in were very well kept and cared for. -Good communication between administration and other staff. -Difficult for transfers (specifically out of special ed) -Good benefits offered -Multiple options for health care
