Work & Life Balance

Business Systems Technician in Sterling, VA
on January 29, 2014
Switch and Field operations
Install and troubleshoot all CPE and CO equipment. Also responsible for cat5,6 cable installation. Over the last 8years I've learned alot about networks and how they work. Anything from pots, dsl and t1 circuits and how they are wired out from the central office to the customers premises. Back office switch equipment that makes the service possible and Adtran/cisco IAD. Management requires me to work independently and the most enjoyable part of my job would be the satisfaction of knowing I play a big role in providing customers with excellent services.
Specialist II/Carrier Repair in Rye Brook, NY

Management was easy to work with and willing to help when needed. It was a heavy workload but resources were available to assist. Even though the work force was spread out across the US, coordinating with workers was easily accomplished.
Customer Care Representative in Cornelia, GA

Windstream is not understanding at all. They will do you dirty and expect you to put them before your own family. Hours and job position are not consistent at all. Expect to be tossed around like a hot potato while working here !
Customer Service Representative in Newton, IA
on April 23, 2021
The training is very fast and information not very clear. It’s very hard to meet the sales quota and hard to get a different shift or different hours than what you are hired for.
Technical Support in Little Rock, AR
on April 22, 2021
Windstream is a company that always outsources and would rather hire new employees than promote current ones to save cost. Several jobs at Windstream only pay minimum wage and the hours are determined by the number of employees who've quit recently. Very poor work environment and outdated company.
