No Job security. Windstream’s policy is to lay-off staff every quarter. The remaining work just gets divided among the rest of the employees. No holiday bonuses. No increase in pay after 5 years.

Laid off after 17 years. No honest explanation was given as to why. Loved working for EarthLink but the company went downhill fast after the Windstream acquisition. Very sad to see.

In the 15 years that I worked there only 5 raises were given unless you were promoted.

If your dispirit to have a job take it. But keep looking for a job. It’s a good and high chance you going to get laid off. I personally would not waist my time. The company not looking good and may not be around soon.
