Wonderful place to build yourself professionally

Indeed Featured review

The most useful review selected by Indeed
I enjoy the role and helping Wineries with solutions to their DTC needs. There are times that mistakes/ issues happen but you learn how to communicate and react to these situations. It can get stressful at times but in the end, you feel accomplished when a Winery/ Partner is satisfied with our work.

Horrible company

This was the worst company I have ever worked for. Very poor training and management. I never felt supported in my role. Not a good work/life balance. Was set up for failure.

Best company I’ve ever worked for

What is the best part of working at the company?the culture and executive team are amazing. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Teams are busy and the load is significant. But you work as a team. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?incredibly supportive. you can walk in and talk to anyone. no answer is a bad answer. errors are learning opportunities and not punitive. What is a typical day like for you at the company?there is a blur between work and life - you have a lot of opportunity to do both throughout the day.

The worst place I have ever worked at!

This is a terrible company to work for! They act like they care about employees and try to say all the right things, but the bottom line, all they care about is the numbers and nothing else. Safety, morale, work-life balance, all of that takes a back seat to their performance matrixes. The company leadership is the quintessential ole boys network. Arrogant, condescending, egotistic, and on and on. There are much better places to work. Don’t waste your time at this place. Oh, and word to the wise; any company that touts, “No extra points for growing headcount,” you can bet is a joke of a place to work! That’s code for wring every ounce of dignity you can from your employees.

Growing but some Growing Pains

Pros: Growth potential if you are will to work for it. Lots of really talented people. Cons: A lot of projects end up being rushed. Nepotism seems to be prevalent. Requires a college degree for real promotion.

Productive and fun place to work.

It was really enjoyable to work there because the job was straightforward. It was not hard to keep up with the work. The only hard thing was when certain special orders needed specific measure boxes.

Pros

Longer breaks

Cons

Standing all day

A place to grow both personally and professionally.

Your typical day can be planned and structured. There should be no surprises due to the expansive software we utilize which enables you to focus on the quality of your work. The software itself is extremely user friendly! The company work culture is something I enjoy! We're an inclusive organization that focuses on growing both our customers and employee's.

Pros

Free lunches, family oriented, lots of wine and opportunity for growth.

Cons

Need's a better onboarding setup for new employee's, The information can appear overwhelming to new users.

Great entry level experience

WS offers little no advancement especially if you’re not one of the cool kids. Favoritism and nepotism run rampant. Great experience in logistics. Work life balance is non existent and overtime is required on a daily basis or you face the wrath of the manager.

Pros

Good experience

Cons

Treated like you’re disposable. Think prison inmate.

Productive and team-oriented workplace

This company offers lots of opportunities for growth. The people are amazing, with a strong sense of teamwork and an overall employee-focused culture. It is exciting to be a part of a fast-growing company and to share in all the improvements being made.

Pros

Great people, exciting opportunities for growth

Cons

Growing pains that come with growth- which are also exciting!

A work in progress.

There are some great perks of working at wineshipping. Party’s are well done. They’ll give wine to employees on occasions. There is forced overtime, depending how you feel about that it’s a good thing or bad thing. They have spent a lot of time and money to improve their daily working operations which isn’t perfect but I guess they’re trying.

Fun Work Place

Typical work day customer facing via email, processing orders for shipping, problem solving. I learned time management and patience. Management is great because they trusted their team and allow us to find our own rhythm in completing assignments. The work culture was a great ambience and stress free. The hardest part about the job was denying clients due their own error or lack of providing information in a timely fashion to ship the items. The most enjoyable part was anytime i was able to make our client satisfied with our service to them.

Pros

Ability to meet with clients off campus

Cons

Pay increase not the best

It's a good place to start your career

But not a permanent place to stay. Company still needs a lot of improvement in all aspects. The turn around of employees is so fast that you are not given a chance to get to know a co-worker.

Big Family

I've grown here, and with the people here. They've taken care of me, and in return I stuck around for a long time. Great place to work in my opinion, I'm still sticking around.

Very fast paced, during the busiest season October-January.

As an intern, collaboratively worked with management and partners to assist in any tasks that may have needed further support. Staff are very friendly.

Not much to say

I do not wish to review a previous employer. The work was fine, people were ok and the money was at market. Small company that wanted to grow up but lacked the management at the time to do so even with resources available to ask.
