Picker/Packer (Current Employee) - Cobleskill, NY - June 14, 2023
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedThe pay and compensation is good. They often treat us to lunches, freebies, goodies, etc. There is opportunity for growth and advancement if you prove your worth and work hard. The schedule is extremely good, M-F weekends off other than during peak time. The only negative, in my opinion, is at our location there is A LOT of nepotism. It causes frustration and friction among employees who have worked hard and are overlooked for relatives of management.
Pros
Pay, great teammates
Cons
Nepotism

Ok if they don't tell you or have a clue about what your talking about!
Warehouse Associate 2 (Former Employee) - Cobleskill, NY - May 20, 2023
Alot of favorites at this company!! Watch it for almost 3 years! Turn over rate is ridiculous. Wasted years to go no where in the company. Had to tell them I was looking for a new job and better money after 2 years with no raise in pay. Had to work 7 days straight to make food money there..
Pros
Free lunch on some days of the year, wasted years. there
Cons
Nothing wasted years there.

Passive aggressive micro management
CSR - Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) - Paso Robles, CA - December 21, 2022
As far as management goes, this is the worst place to work! Don’t do it unless you literally like to be screamed at and demeaned in front of your coworkers. The micro management is unreal in this place.

great compensation but at what cost?
Operations Manager (Current Employee) - Hazelwood, MO - November 21, 2022
my experience here has not been the greatest. i left a job for this job, in hopes of a better work/life balance and compensation. while i did receive these things, it's almost not worth it due to the stress levels and lack of leadership/guidance. i have not had a 1:1 or a conversation with my manager within the past year i have been here, in fact 2 of my managers have been terminated so far. i was not trained for my position, was "thrown to the wolves" and am self-taught. i have expressed my concerns but have not had any feedback. management consistently ask for more from the people and higher performance without providing hows and whys. it drains employees quickly. what started off as a dream job has quickly turned into a regret.
Pros
compensation is above competitors
Cons
lack of tools and resources

Good place
Team Lead (Current Employee) - Vacaville, CA - August 3, 2022
It is physically demanding, as you are on your feet all day. Breaks are short. During peak season, you will be working mandatory overtime. They are currently running 4-10s so, you can be on your feet for more than 10 hours a day.

Results may vary
Employee (Former Employee) - Employee - March 14, 2022
Your satisfaction absolutely varies by position. At wineshipping you will work long days. The pay could be much higher for warehouse employees. It really depends on where you work.

Do not recommend
Warehouse Associate (Former Employee) - Earth City, MO - January 24, 2022
Floor managers and supervisors are awesome and will work with you when necessary. The higher ups need to spend more time in the warehouse learning the process. They will come onto the floor and change the process or have you do something outside of your job description and/or pay grade, often times slowing production then you're expected to stay late. They also don't premote from within. They would rather fire you and higher someone from the outside. Too much expection placed on employees without proper compensation. This company is very cheap and will do anything to make more money, resulting in employees making the least amount possible. Overall, if you need a job, sure, but I would suggest looking elsewhere.
Pros
Benefits, floor managers willing to work with you
Cons
no employee loyalty, expectation exceeds compensation, you truly are just a number here

Enjoyful and great place to work
Operations Supervisor (Current Employee) - Cobleskill, NY - April 19, 2021
This company is growing rapidly. With that comes some growing pains but what company doesn't have that. The leadership staff shows understanding and a willingness to push the company to the next level with proactive hiring of individuals to the correct positions to challenge and promote the right culture. It is already a great company to work for, in time it will be even better.
Pros
Company feeds, team building, training is good, work/life is great!
Cons
Healthcare is high, especially for family costs. But the other benefits out weight that.

Jobs at Wineshipping, LLC
It’s a job.
Picker/Packer (Current Employee) - Cobleskill, NY - February 18, 2021
They hire anyone, which is good and bad. The busy season is crazy which is nice if you want overtime, it’s mandatory. The pay is awful and below average for warehouse pay, you don’t notice during the holidays because you make decent money working almost 7 days a week. Once the busy season is over you lose hundreds of dollars a week, sometimes leaving extremely early in your regular shift because of lack of work. Inconsistent pay and unsure hours. Pay is weekly which is nice. Some managers are really good and try their best and others stay in their office and you never see them. It’s like everyone knows the problems but no one of high enough up in the company to make real change. The work is busy work and repetitive, but still worthy of a decent wage. $13 an hour won’t pay anyone’s rent in Cobleskill.
Pros
Regular breaks, over time
Cons
Low pay

Great company, loose atmosphere and they have a pool table!
Area Manager (Current Employee) - Cobleskill, NY - January 12, 2021
There are numerous shifts to suit any need. Management treats you like a person, not a number. The culture is playful yet serious about getting the job done correctly. The most enjoyable part of the job are the people and the benefits!
Pros
Earned time off, pay, location, growth and overall culture.
Cons
Healthcare is a little expensive.

Horrable place to work and unsafe.
Picker (Former Employee) - Cobleskill, NY - December 19, 2020
This company will treat you like garbage for low pay and move on quick with Temps. This is a bad place to work and safety is not a concern as things break and you get hurt. Overtime will be canceled out by less hours other days of the week so they don't have to pay you.
Pros
Free wine
Cons
Everything

A nice place to work
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) - Cobleskill, NY - August 21, 2020
When I first started working with this company, it was supposed to be short-term, as I had just moved to the area. However, what started out as a short-term career, turned into long-term. I enjoy working here because of the friendships I have created, the work I get to do, and how much the company does for its workers to provide a fun and rewarding career. The atmosphere is laid back and the work is easy to do.
Pros
Good Healthcare, Pto, Holidays

Hectic in the fall, lots of mandatory overtime.
Forklift Operator (Current Employee) - Colonie, NY - September 19, 2018
Low pay and minimal raises for all workers, I'm talking about pennies. They are very demanding for the pay being given. The fall gets busy, at least 6 days per week.
Pros
Local
Cons
Low pay and raises
