Sick leave can be rolled over from year to year and the balance used upon retirement to pay for health insurance premiums following retirement from state service.

They have a strict policy. Must get sick excuses signed by doctors to use sick time. Doctors laugh at it...otherwise need to take vacation for puking kids that you don’t want to drag to the clinic.
