Community Corrections (Current Employee) – Wisconsin – May 11, 2019
Community corrections is often a selfless job. They pay is sub-par with little in terms of benefits. Yet, individuals that want to make a difference in the world they live are often drawn to this kind of work. It is purposeful, with an average day being extremely hectic. The day begins with a plan, but quickly becomes unravelled. We deal with human behavior which is always unpredictable.
Correctional Sergeant (Former Employee) – Oregon, WI – June 26, 2019
I worked here for 11 years. Thedainderstaffing issues were what finally drove me away. I was missing too much family time, and the money wasn't worth it anymore. The staff there s great though, all the way from the guards to the deputy warden.
