Great benefits, bonuses and such, and pretty solid culture.
Systems Engineer (Former Employee) –  Chicago, ILDecember 13, 2017
Nice place to work, especially understanding of those with families. Great benefits, including discounted gym membership, full kitchen serving breakfast and lunch with snacks in between. Pretty collaborative culture and relaxed environment. Most senior managers and partners are very approachable and take the time to listen to ideas from even low level folks.

Data Science Intern (Former Employee) –  Chicago, ILOctober 24, 2017
Pay is very nice, and top-notch breakfast and lunch are provided daily. Work life balance is about as good as you could ask for from a job in Finance. Would recommend.
Pros
Free breakfast, lunch, snacks
Cons
Return offers limited

Wolverine was a medium size trading firm with a great culture
SENIOR TRADER (Former Employee) –  Philadelphia, PAMay 15, 2017
The opportunity to grow at the firm was terrific. If you showed initiative to start a new business, the partners were eager to hear about it. Compensation was fair.
Pros
Culture, Monthly dinners with peers

Software Engineer (Current Employee) –  Chicago, ILApril 20, 2017
Great benefits, though medical has room for improvement. Free breakfast and lunch, monthly parties, great people to work with if you are motivated that is.

Great Breakfast and Lunch
Trader, US Treasury Options (Former Employee) –  Chicago, ILApril 12, 2017
Breakfast and Lunch is included everyday for free, which is the best thing about working there. Management isn't great, constantly moving people around and micromanaging. Compensation is based upon your manager's opinion, and not your accomplishments.

Helpdesk Engineer (Former Employee) –  Chicago, ILApril 7, 2017
Wolverine provided a very comfortable work environment where I could practice and develop my technical skills. Working with teammates and traders alike was not only productive because of great communication skills, but also enjoyable through plenty of company social events.

A typical financial trading company
Software engineer (Former Employee) –  NYC, NYJune 20, 2013
Wolverine Trading is a great company to work for. It provides good compensation and benefits. As a software developer I worked in the NYC office next to traders. I would say it is not a very creative environment.
My time spent in the Chicago office does not qualify me to draw any certain conclusion about job environment there.
The job security in the firm is rather low. That what one would expect from a trading company of 200+ people.
Pros
Good compensation and benefits
Cons
Low job security, little creativity.
