Gossip Mill & Lack of Training
Help Desk Technician (Former Employee) –  Salt Lake City, UTOctober 2, 2017
The culture here is based on rumor and gossip.
First of all, there is absolutely 0 training and you are asked to start performing right away. All the information and programs here are proprietary but they expect you to know them as if they are as common as Microsoft Word. There is little to no cross-team help, people play the blame game. Most of the products were developed by one or two people and then they are they only ones who know how that program works. When it breaks they don't seem to care much regardless of how many clients and other departments it is affecting.
There is little to no actual ratings of anyone they are made up by managers based on their love or dislike of a person last minute, overall performance is never included in reviews.
The company seems fun, but it's an insane place to try and work.
Pros
Time Off, 401k Matching

Government contract service provider
Senior Courseware Developer / Analyst (Former Employee) –  Hill AFB, UtahFebruary 14, 2012
Working as a service provider, it is imperative to understand the position boils down to filling a requirement. As the company went from a small to medium size business, the close knit feeling dissipated. Working with government employees, however, was a great experience. Our team was able to establish strong working relationships, which in turn improved the company's reputation.
Pros
flexible work schedule
Cons
no 'after contract' support
