You will constantly be treated like a child who knows nothing (weekly tests, daily role play, etc.) You will be put down without hesitation if ANYONE says no to you opening an account with them. They want those predatory fees to take from all their customers.
Branch Manager in Columbia, SC

Woodforest is a great place if you want to get started in banking. There are opportunities to move up to management but depending on regions some favoritism. My advice to anyone believe in yourself and work hard because they will make you work for advancements. They offer monthly bonuses which is nice when you hit goal. If your not a self starter and like goals this company may night be for you.

This institution is great if you're able to rely on yourself and learn lots of information fast. Upper management is not supportive and will not have your back. The compensation is great, but does not equal the amount of daily stress.
Retail Banker/Teller in Staunton, VA

Long hours and days. No work/home life balance. Training is mixed. Not consistent. Poor communication from management. Management does not care about the needs of the employee.
