Strategic planning for prospects (prospecting), calling potential or existing customers/clients and setting appointments for meeting. Reviewing needs and presenting options/products that could assist. if purchase made, delivery of the certificates came thereafter.
Learned the life insurance side of the insurance industry and financial products. Management was very helpful and personable all the way up to the CEO in Omaha, NE. Good workplace culture in a tough life insurance industry environment. Hardest part of the job was having to make calls to set up appointments with people who most generally do not like receiving phone calls from salespersons. Most enjoyable parts of the job was being able to make my own schedule, traveling, and meeting new people in the effort to explain things to them and help if needed.
