Woods services does not at all care about the quality of life of their residents. There are instances of neglect and abuse which gets swept under the rug, constantly. Family members considering woods schools for their loved ones seriously need to reconsider. There are many other establishments that provide care, without the neglect and abuse.
It's very embarrassing to admit you worked here.
I don't. It's embarrasing, especially with the rash of unfortunate events of years passed. They are always being investigated by licensing sources, mostly impromptu investigations.
This is not a good place to work. The management team is not supportive, there are cliques with the higher ups, it's not what you know but who you know. Key team members do not attend meetings. Taking time off from work via Fmla or short term disability is frowned upon, your position is not safe.
