Busy when business is good and loss of headcount when it isn't.

Woodward was very cyclical during my time there. It started as a 40 hour per week job for everyone and quickly became 2 shifts and the starting of a 3rd shift to keep up with customer orders.

The bottom then fell out and there was little done to improve things for the future, there has been round after round of reductions.
ProsEmployees were well cared for.
ConsThe feel of a good old boys management team.
