Greatly enjoyed the people, frustrated by the organization...
Co-workers and even immediate supervisors were exceptional, quality professionals. Though we all understood the complexity of the commercial nuclear arena, the most senior level of management (headquartered in Australia) were overly risk adverse, which greatly hindered the state side operations from procuring additional work contracts with already established clients. This restrictive policy led to a great deal of up and down swings, with down swings becoming the norm as commercial nuclear contracts required greater levels of contractor risk assumptions.
Pros
Outstanding benefits, compensation, work schedule adaptability
Cons
Expensive Healthcare packages, No job security

Productive work environement with sustainability issues
Excellent first few years, but impacted by volatile business conditions and high employee turnover, i.e. two successive managers left the company and two more successive managers were laid off.
Unwieldy management structure that has a dozen layers communicating with all employees all the time with surveys; layoff, retirement, new hire announcements; organization changes; newsletters; directives; procedures; constantly revised policy documents, etc.

Company management structure and positions reorganized each year for the past several years created great deal of uncertainly.
Pros
Excellent compensation, benefits, and IT support. Great learning environment.
Cons
Constant disruptions by all levels of managment.

Lousy place to work
Treats professionals like factory workers. If you are not billable 100% of the time they lay you off or you have to use vacation. They also expect you to go anywhere in the world with no notice for as long as they need you.
