Stop being obsessed with monopolizing the heathcare industry in this area and even out of state and start treating your Employees better. Pay them a decent wage and stop stripping down their benefits because youre too stingy to give Employees from all the healthcare facilities you are buying out the same benefits you gave us. Benefits are being taken away, we lost some paid Holidays, vacation time and our insurance premiums, copays and RX costs are all skyrocketing. The measly 2% "raise" doesnt even keep up with inflation/ rise in the cost of living ,so most Employees go backwards in pay and make less every year. Parking is terrible...why do you keep expanding and not provide adequate parking and make your Employees ride a shuttle bus? And if the shuttle bus is late and they are late clocking in you write them up ,aka an "occurence ". It is a horrible place to work and already people are fed up and quitting and going where they will be appreciated. Youre generating more income from buying out all these facilities, yet you skim down benefits and pay for the Employees and give away tons of charity care. Shameful. Absolutely shameful

You do not get sick days you earn so many hours of Paid Days Off or PDO that you can use for appointments, sick days, or vacation. The number of hours you get per paycheck increases with years worked.

Answered April 29, 2018

Dont waste your time. Look elsewhere. Horrible company to work for. They do not appreciate or value their Employees& it is reflected in the poor salaries &ever declining benefits. They are actually decreasing people's vacation time, paid Holidays &raising health insurance costs. They are trying to monopolize the health care industry in this area. They require their Employees who use wvum's health insurance to use wvum healthcare facilities, or else go out of network &pay even more. Working there gets worse every day. NO ONE who works at wvum ever looks happy. I make less every year than O did the previous year because they raise insurance costs but the raises are only 2%...what a joke...2 %
