It's a joke. They didn't tell me they weren't hiring for technical support position that I applied for; it was the reason I applied in the first place. So when I was offered the job I was told it was for technical support. It was discussed during the interview.

On my start date imagine how surprised I was when I found out they hired me for customer service. A big joke!!
