Too many upper level managerial implementations of their agendas. Constantly launching something new, but with delays and always changing these programs to focus on, but don't forget about your daily safety targets or the high level scrutiny will come. Training always important, but your main job always comes first.

No leadership no training amd when the main manager came to work with us favoritism was definitely in your face and not behind your back. Everyday i knew what to expect. 2 bosses that only care about the bottom line numbers. Make it look good but no one really cares.

Most times, XPO makes its numbers by cutting costs to the bone. There are a lot of great people in the field, but once you move to Region or Division level, those in charge are not aware of how desperate things are in the field. They have been fighting organizing efforts in all parts of the country. Great managers are retiring early, or going to a competitor.

Consistent job but doesn’t pay enough compared to pay rates now. People seem to like each other but treat each other badly throughout. Management doesn’t really care about employees.

The company culture can really vary by department. My previous role at XPO was stressful and difficult to take a day off. In my current role, work/life balance is much better. XPO employees are greatly underpaid and it is difficult to get raises. Typically, new hires make more than employees who have been here a long time and have shown loyalty to the company. Bonuses are ambiguous and very low compared to other companies. I feel it's difficult to know who to trust within the organization. People have been targeted with no clear explanation. There was a recent restructuring where several long term employees were let go. This had made many uneasy. Company does not believe in flexible work schedules and prefers to have everyone in the office.CEO does a good job creating shareholder value.
