Truck Washer (Former Employee) –  Strafford, MOJanuary 8, 2017
Typical day is put into 8 hour shifts, saying "this job is a team job" is an understatement; considering if you're fellow coworkers do not show for the day sometimes for non-excusable reasons, it really can make or break your day. As well as attitude, if you do not have a good attitude it can and will affect your coworkers and business for the day. Leave your bad attitude at home or wait til there isn't business for a moment then you can vent to someone or ask your boss or supervisor if you can leave if your day is bad or you're feeling unwell, most of the time they will let you go if you give your best effort at work and truly need a day off or so. This job isn't for the faint of heart. You use a less potent sulfuric acid chemical base to brighten some chrome on drivers trucks. As well as livestock trailers and washout trailers can be gnarly with all of the debris and smells. If you are looking for a hands on job that keeps you active though; then this is the job for you.
Friendly bosses if you are friendly and cooperative, Insurance options provided, If you make friends you really can have a more decent time.
No breaks at all if busy all day, some drivers can be a pain and ruin your day.
