Every 2 weeks of work you earn PTO (paid time off). This PTO is used for holidays & your requested time off. You can accumulate your PTO & you can also cash it in. For example you can earn 10 PTO hours in 1 paid period, 20 hours in 1 month... PTO hours vary by # of years working. I think it's a good system.
You have to use your own PTO for holidays it's not a desperate benefit
