Quality Specialist (Current Employee) –  Milwaukee, WIMay 21, 2018
Yamaha Kracor is a good place to work, they are changing the culture and it's growing very quickly. The operations manager is awesome, and the plant manager has some work to do but is a good guy overall.

Assembly Associate (Former Employee) –  Newnan, GAMarch 21, 2018
A typical day in bonding and foaming (not general assembly) is very active. there are two 10 min breaks and one 30-60 in lunch break depending on how the day goes. Management is not the best (I had 3 in 2 years of working) but they are bearable for the pay. The pay is best once you're hired on and benefits and discounts are amazing. The hardest part of the job is dealing with management but the most enjoyable is pay day! In the summer it gets extremely hot and very cold in the winter without properly working heaters.

Administrator (Current Employee) –  Orange County, CAAugust 22, 2017
Yamaha is good for people who can go to work, do what they're told, stay an hour late and come back an hour early in the morning chipper and ready to go. Disrupting the status quo is not encouraged.
Pros
The brand is strong so if you're in marketing your job is easy, for now.
Cons
Poor benefits package, no option to work from home, most parts of the company are locked into a cubicle, very little communication from upper management about actual company goals, innovation is not valued and employees are underpaid but expected to do the job of 6 people.

Crew Member (Former Employee) –  Newnan, GAJanuary 19, 2017
This job was not for me. Horrible hours and the job was not secure enough to see as a career in that industry. Hard work for worst pay and there is no interaction with boss.
