Assistant Camp Counselor in Ashburn, VA

I was able to fit into the culture at the YMCA well. The managers were nice and very understanding. If a coworker had any problem they were able to take time out of their day to answer questions and concerns.

Pretty good job, chill environment, cool parent and very great cool kids. Management was organized and very understanding when things came up, took precautions during pandemic and making sure each staff member were safe and comfortable.
Vice President of Operations in Jacksonville, FL

Great job for first time managers not experienced professionals.Leadership is old school and not willing to make lots of needed changes. You will experience a lot of buzz words and fancy language with little follow through and lack of organizational execution. It’s a great mission and a lot of nice people. Longevity of most mid to upper level executives is 24 months.

Not the best company to work for, especially at the front desk. Management was basically corrupt. They expected you to do much more than they paid you for. Organization needs to improve.
Lead Preschool Teacher (PEG Program) in Springfield, MA

Great opportunities for youth, top-notch daycare environment. Need more diversity in staffing for daycare. Community help for families struggling, great resources available. Outside services for child development on site. Support for teachers and families with children and disabilities.
