  • Not very flexible, always asked to work additional hours or cover shifts including weekends and holidays.

  • Semi flexible. But you will be putting in a lot of hours

  • Not flexible at all.

  • I can be flexible but working there my boss was so strict that I couldn't even call in. So the schedule was extremely tight.

  • I worked within a high school, so my hours were set to the school times. If I worked at the larger childcare sites, I was able to tell the directors the hours I was available to work. However, its not always so flexible. The larger sites do want their staff to work 9 hour shifts, but with an hour break.

  • We are open in the mornings and the evenings. So the Mornings is 8am-1pm and the evenings is 4pm-8:30pm. We are also open on the weekends. Saturday 8am-1pm and Sunday 12pm-3pm

  • Not that flexible and they make you feel guilty about calling out and taking care of yourself

  • Very flexible. You tell them when you can work and they will sign you up for that time. You have to give two weeks notice for missing a shift though. If you don’t want to commit to a lot of shifts you can just be someone who picks them up when available.

  • Not good. Just depends on if you’re full staffed or not.

  • Hours are flexible for the most part
