Information is provided by the carrier not York. The procedure is make 2 calls to the insured then one call to the agent. If no response, then close it out. Making $20 -25 for making three phone calls is pretty good. If you're making more phone calls than that, you only have yourself to blame. Follow procedures!!
As an independent contractor you set the working hours. Again, on paper it looks good. Spent too much time tracking down the listed contact to set an appointment. Too many wrong phone numbers and addresses. Lots of misinformation on the preliminary inspection report.
Accuracy is the watchword when doing this type of work.
