Executive Administrative Assistant (Current Employee) – Dahlgren, VA – August 2, 2018
At first i thought it was a good company but they need to learn how to train well in all areas and learn how to deal with conflict. Very stressful job. The job seemed intresting but once you got into it, it was not all it was pan out to be. They seem worried about themselves and and what ratings that they will be getting.
breaks, accountability, not enough PTO they don't have ortho plan
Foreign Language Instructor (Former Employee) – Ft. Bragg, NC – October 2, 2018
Program Manager at Ft. Bragg never instructed and did not know any foreign language. She never offered positive reinforcement and only found fault. She was rude and aggressive and created a hostile work environment. If she could, she would find a way to retaliate aganist an applicant of staff member.
The company's headquarters were excellent and responsive
The Program Manager at Ft. Bragg, was unprofessional and knows nothing about effective, modern management techniques
Instructor (Former Employee) – Fort Bragg, NC – September 28, 2018
They are not worried about the quality of professionals that they hire, they only want the Government money. The Manager is a phony woman, without character, who does not have professionalism. If you are a qualified professional, you will not be there for a long time, because they only want ignorant people without personalites that they can manipulate. The days that the school is closed because of bad weather, they do not pay the employees, even though the money is already in their account. They will not stay there for a long time, because the Army is already seeing the chaos that they are bringing to the language school.
Very professional HQ staff and employees to work with
Program Manager/Train the Trainer (Current Employee) – Washington, DC – April 16, 2018
Ensuring that all employees were in the right place at the right time doing the right thing. Ensured that any and all issues were addressed and handled professionally. Ensured that all timecards were completed correctly on a daily basis. Managment was very easy to work with and could be reached at any time.
The staff made it very easy and comfortable to come to work with a smile.
Program Manager (Former Employee) – FSI – December 18, 2017
Deceiving Management. Received gratitude for the job well done yet was dismissed without any reasons given. I was not the only one treated very deceiving by this company. They will use you and get rid of you. I greatly regret working with them.
The company leadership and staff were excellent and they would do anything to help their employees. It is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that emphasizes on taking care of their employees similar to the way the military takes care of their service members and families.
Tier 1 Technician (Former Employee) – Huntsville, AL – October 19, 2017
I enjoyed my time at Yorktown ownership was great and very good at what they do. I have had experiences at jobs none quite like Yorktown. The staff were very unique and pleasant to me during my time as a temp.
Advanced Administrative Assistant (Current Employee) – Huntsville, AL – September 13, 2017
You just can't beat their upper management. Great government customer personal acknowledgement soften many bonuses all around great place to work. I would recommend Yorktown and their subs to any of my friends
Field Analyst (Former Employee) – Huntsville, AL – July 7, 2017
Culture sucks and management is rude. Pays you based on 40 hour work weeks but expects you to work 50-60 hours a week. They lowball pay but expects you to work your butt off. Management is dilisuional and it wouldn't surprise me if they end up on the verge of bankruptcy again. Don't take a job there and expect a personal life. Executives are rude to employees and it won't take long for their terrible reputation to get out.
