Very good and fast pace, no complaints, free lunches. learned how to serve others and clean surroundings. The most enjoyable part was the break and having hands on experience.

What I’ve learned

Youth Works helped me improve my skills with others. Gave me a better learning experience. The best thing about the job was helping students with SAT practice.

Youthworks Summer Job

While I was working for youth works, it was nice to get up and go to work. We would help the homeless and learn new things about the world/people. The things that we learned on the job were that we should be able to go out and do things for ourselves and explore the world,we learned more about the lbgtq community and the people around us. It was a wonderful experience that made me open my eyes to many things

Fair, compilable, outgoing

Sometimes strict, hardworking

Great opportunity to mold teens

Be willing to self manage. Workplace varies among community cites, like schools, camps, parks. You will need to partner with cite employees who may have different priorities than the program you are running.

Fun and Productive place with wonderful children

I had to go to a summer bridge program and I was allowed to change my work hours so I was able to do both without having to give up doing either of the activities.

It helped me get more physical abilities.

This summer job was there to help me learn the physical traits to help fix things. I was out there to help keep the place in clean, welcoming, and safe environment.

I loved working for YouthWorks, there were no problems once so ever.

YouthWorks is a great opportunity for students who’ve never held a job and for students who also had previous work experience. There is nothing bad that I’ve encountered while working for YouthWorks.

Great first job.

A typical day for me at work was organizing and sorting files, scanning documents and assisting my manager with anything they needed. This summer job prepared for the real work force.
