Accounting Clerk (Former Employee) – New Port Richey – April 2, 2018
Poor and dishonest management starts at the top and continues down the pyramid that is YFA. They have unrealistic expectations of there facilities and staff. When a staff member tries to enact change or help management realize oversights which lead the organization into trouble, those staff members are ridiculed and casually tossed aside. I’ve seem employees being told that their work performance is outstanding so that they feel job security, while at the same time management works towards replacing them. Hopefully all the recent turnover in upper management due to internal scandals will result in a management staff that cares about it’s employees.
Family Care Manager (Former Employee) – Hernando, FL – February 21, 2018
Work is from 7am-whenever! Working as a Family Care Manager is hard enough, but to be thrown to the wolves right out of training makes for a very overwhelming, stressful environment!! If you ask too many questions, management labels you as a needy and unable to figure things out. It would help if everyone would give the same answers, HELLO!! There are so many things you can do wrong that can completely devastate a family, so of course you will have 500 questions a day!! Also, it was not a very cohesive environment. Everyone is hanging on by their fingernails and it's a fend for yourself situation. Also, you spend a lot of time in court, which is horrible!! Just know that any position with this company is all consuming and if you have a family, you will be too busy with your client's families to enjoy any time with your own!! You don't get paid enough to have your own family torn apart!!
Family Care Manager (Former Employee) – Brooksville, FL – October 5, 2017
Highly stressful job but extremely fulfilling. Coworkers and management were extremely supportive. It was a collaborative work environment. The hardest part of the job was the caseload and time requirements.
