stimulating work environment with great colleagues and in emerging technology
Business Development Manager (Former Employee) – Miami, FL – June 18, 2018
YuMe was (it was sold) a fantastic company which provided me with autonomy, flexible work environment with work/life balance. While working in a start up environment I learned more of the technical side of our products. The workplace culture was challenging at times, as I worked remote and often there was a struggle with prioritizing between my departments priorities and protocols and others. The hardest part of the job was sometimes a lack of direction or help prioritizing tasks and duties. The most enjoyable part of the job was our team and my co-workers. I learned so much from them, they became mentors and incredibly valuable.
great culture and co workers
not much career development, lack of support from leadership
Ad Operations Specialist (Former Employee) – Redwood City, CA – March 30, 2017
This company hires great talent who work hard and are great people. The issue comes in the fact that they don't know what to do with the talent they have. Work hours are too long, extremely hard to get a promotion unless you are an attractive woman, and the atmosphere is demoralizing. Great talent gets pushed out once they want to advance due to management fearing for their own job positions. Do not come here if you can help it.
Senior Account Manager (Current Employee) – Los Angeles, CA – April 27, 2016
Great work-life balance, intelligent leaders, good learning environment, and room for advancement. Although the company is IPO'd they still act like a small company with room growth and experimenting outside current role.
Advancement, team camaraderie, learning environment
Boys club, weak internal processes, reactive instead of proactive
