Overall enjoyable experience. Sometimes very long shifts and sale season can be incredibly stressful. Pay was good for a starting retail position. Would recommend for a starting position

Cashier/Customer Service in Murray, UT

Friendly work place however the management is often disorganized and the schedule is inconsistent and changes without notice. The best part of the job is the employee discount.
Manager, Designer and Stlylist in Glendale, AZ

Some Zara locations have a very positive environment while others have a “Mean Girls” environment. This environment is created by the top managers. The moral in most locations is terrible. Once you become a department manager the pay is really good nearing 6 figures but the stress level almost over weighs the pay. Higher managers like sub directors, general managers and store directors make at least 6 figures. There is opportunity for growth however, your manager ( if you have mean girl) can block that growth even though promotion is done by HR. There is definitely outward favoritism. Many occasions people go home crying. You need to have thick skin because the members in corporate don’t do anything if you have grievances. If you’re in Los Angeles, Century City, Farmers Market, South Coast and Beverly center are some good locations. Century City and Farmers pay the most. Yes, different locations pay differently even for the associates.

The manager is really nice and handles everything very well. It's a really important team player. And even if you don't speak the language they are open to hire you
