Not a great ethic company.
Technician (Current Employee) –  Bentonville, ARFebruary 15, 2019
Some employees are helpful, other are cut throat and only want to help themselves. Training is mediocre. A lot of mistakes are made because you are not told all the possible problems with devices, It would help if they would have certain credible people that would train new hires.
Pros
Lots of overtime
Cons
Too much overtime

Order Administrator (Current Employee) –  Lincolnshire, ILFebruary 6, 2019
I have been with the company for almost ten years and they provide a lot of benefits that aren't matched within the industry. Overall, the people are very easy to work with and have the same goal in mind to accomplish the task at hand.

Computer repair Technician (Former Employee) –  Bentonville, ARJanuary 24, 2019
Not a bad place to work and has a lot of great people working there. Zebra does not work well with last minute emergencies. For example if you have kids and your kids school calls you saying your kid is sick and needs to be picked up you will get some sort of punishment from the management and thats a 1/4 point for something that is simply out of your control. Their point system and their new management team is terrible and nobody ever has the correct answer for your concerns
Pros
In town and good co-workers
Cons
The management and they point system

Repair Technician (Former Employee) –  Bentonville, ARDecember 27, 2018
Zebra as a whole is a pretty good company to work for as far as pay goes. Benefits for full-time employees are above average or at least average. However the culture of the depot I worked was wholly negative and not friendly. As for managment, they do their best given what corporate has unfairly burdened them with. However, the location I worked at had substancial required overtime. If you never need sleep, then prepare to be a temp that works 18 months at 55 hours per week with no paid days off. If you can get over that hump, then you are cut out for the tech floor at my location. If you want a life outside of work, find a lower paying job so you can enjoy the stuff you have money to buy. Also, you learn alot but tasks are largely repetitive.
Pros
Overtime

"Temporary" Permanent Mandatory Overtime

Warehouse Associate (Current Employee) –  Greenville, WIDecember 25, 2018
When management isn't busy giving themselves raises, they're stealing your ideas and claiming them as their own. Other than that, PTO is 4 weeks starting which is nice, but pto doesn't pay the bills.
Pros
4 week pto starting
Cons
management wants worker bees, not leaders like they say

Sr. Director, Global Accounts (Former Employee) –  remote, AZNovember 26, 2018
Zebra just purchased our division from Motorola and was going through challenges in integrating this new business. Numerous senior level management positions were being reassigned, so while I was there, it was quite challenging.

Technician II (Former Employee) –  Bentonville, ARNovember 15, 2018
The pay is good the hours suck. Mandatory overtime is a joke. 4am start time is the worst. If your a contract employee you better watch your back. All you have to do is make the wrong person slightly upset and your done. Everyone will act like your best friend but as soon as they can they will stab you right in the back over nothing. If you keep quiet and work like a slave you will be just fine. O and god forbid a family emergency happens and you have to miss a day of work because if your a temp and that happens youre good as gone.
Pros
Good pay alot of hours
Cons
Alot

Operator (Current Employee) –  Flowery branchNovember 9, 2018
Management needs to make decisions base on business needs, not personal needs. Due to this issue a selected few of employees and staff are not held accountable for their poor decisions. This has been a repetitive issue with the same actions....HR and top Management visits, interview employees, request changes etc. They are not seeing the big issue or not wanting to accept the fact that the leaders they have does not have the requirements to lead the operation. Zebra has a great vision but the key roles within the operation can barely make ends meet throughout the day.

The poor management was too much
Repair Service Technician, Quality control (Former Employee) –  Buffalo Grove, ILNovember 1, 2018
The management at the location I was hired is notorious for being cut-throat and condecensding to many of its workers. There was also little possibility of advancement based on actual job merit, instead it was apparently solely dependent on the relationship with management. I knew many people who were great co-workers, but ultimatly were not offered career-advancment options because a person in the chain of command wanted to place one of their friends in the position. Not everyone in managment acted like this, but unfortunatly they often had no choice in the matter.

On a positive note, the benefits that the company offers are more or less industry standard, and I never had an issue regarding this.
