Good for Employees, Cut-throat for contractors
Repair Technician (Former Employee) – Bentonville, AR – December 27, 2018
Zebra as a whole is a pretty good company to work for as far as pay goes. Benefits for full-time employees are above average or at least average. However the culture of the depot I worked was wholly negative and not friendly. As for managment, they do their best given what corporate has unfairly burdened them with. However, the location I worked at had substancial required overtime. If you never need sleep, then prepare to be a temp that works 18 months at 55 hours per week with no paid days off. If you can get over that hump, then you are cut out for the tech floor at my location. If you want a life outside of work, find a lower paying job so you can enjoy the stuff you have money to buy. Also, you learn alot but tasks are largely repetitive.
Cons
"Temporary" Permanent Mandatory Overtime
