A group of hard working and easy going people

I was hired on a three month contract to test their software and give detailed bug reports. Everyone from my co-workers to my managers were easy to talk to and work with.

Toxic

The work environment is very toxic they don't care about their employees or customers for that matter they don't treat ppl the way they deserve to be treated

Fun culture, inadequate management

Organization provides a fun culture for all generations but struggles to stay competitive (e.g. new ideas, compensation, career development). Company ranks "loyalty" from their employees as highest employee contribution. In return, tenured employees tend to be biggest stakeholders despite sound decision-making. Many close colleagues who are demonstrated high performers were pigeonholed, missing rightful opportunities for growth and advancement in their careers (leading to their resignations and onward to competitive/better options). Promotions and developmental opportunities do not tend to be based on an across-the-board objective assessment or rationale. While the organization fosters a "family-oriented" culture, sometimes you have to fly the thorny nest and soar to greater heights. The occasional happy hour wasn't bad, either.

The work can be fun, but the environment, management and mentality is toxic. Also, there are very few opportunities for advancement. I have learned a lot about the gaming industry and how it really works.

Fun place to work with new releases constantly

I highly recommend Bethesda, ZeniMax, or any of its studios. Fun place to work with plenty of opportunities to move about and constant change. It is a growth oriented company but what company isn't? Among large companies, it is still small enough that you can contribute and make your mark.
