Around the Clock Work - Demanding
Associate Director of Operations (Former Employee) – Beverly, MA – July 13, 2017
If you happen to be interested in getting into the sport industry, there is no better place to test your mettle than in the crucible that is Zero Gravity Basketball. Not only will you be pushed to your limits both mentally and physically, but this will be the hardest job you ever have. The Spring basketball tournament season is where heroes are made and frauds discovered. Seven days/week, 14+ hour days are the reality of this job. Despite the taxing workload, there are no better bosses in the game than the CEO and COO. The office culture is incredible, while simultaneously being incredibly stressful. Those that could not handle it left, while the ones who stayed showed extreme talent in the worst of situations. During the spring I would typically get to work around 9am and generally leave at the earliest by 8pm. Some nights everyone stayed until midnight or later because the workload was that overwhelming. Weekends are dedicated to running the tournaments, an entirely different beast if you are not familiar with site directing.
