TRW no longer performs the kind of government contracting work I did when I was there. At that time, though, the environment was demanding, but with room for advancement.

Small teams allow for quick comradery and a super friendly atmosphere. Direct management is awesome for most teams.Upper management is out of touch with reality.Workload is getting heavy lately. The work can be as challenging or boring as you make it.
Machine Operator/Assembler in Fowlerville, MI

When I started years ago the job was alright but in the last year I could count on my hands the amount of weekends we've had off. The pay is alright (especially with the forced overtime) but you top out after a few years. Benefits are also acceptable not great but not bad, decent medical and 401k with company matching. Turnover is awful and management encourages us to not tell new hires that we work 7 days a week. Training is abysmal but on the bright side its not hard to keep the job with the revolving door they're running. Also if listening to music while you work is your thing, look the other way because it is not allowed despite being a shop.

No maintenance on the night shift, you take on a lot of extra roles. I’ve also worked 7 days a week for the last year and a half. They expect you to work every single day, unless they call work off a few hours before your shift.

Everything is going well till now. Almost totally remote position, great work life balance, very kind colleges a culture that is in continuous improvement.
