Zomick's is the best place to work for
Baker (Former Employee) - Cedarhurst, NY - July 13, 2018
I worked at Zomick's for several years and all I have to say is that this is a wonderful place.
I worked as a baker. As I'm not a Jewish, they trained me how to make the Zomick's Challah Bread.
Had a lot of fun working there. I needed to leave because of my spouse job relocation.
The colleagues are friendly. They were singing the whole time :).
We had a lot of free snacks. Every day, I was bringing 5-6 Zomick's Challah's home haha :).
The management is AWESOME!
Pros
Fun environment, collaborative colleagues, free food and drinks, great management.
Cons
I gained 5 pounds from eating the Zomick's Challah Bread :)

A fun workplace with positive employees
Cashier/Customer Service (Former Employee) - Cedarhurst, NY - December 12, 2017
I had the times of my life working at Zomick's. I was young when started and learned so much working in the food industry. It is a great place to work with much room for growth and many different avenues of development. The company takes really good care of their teams and management.
One day at work could be tiring because of how slow it is and other days it can be crowded. I learned a lot by working in there but if it is one thing I know is to always make sure your space is clean. When it comes to hours and schedules Zomick's kosher bakery is a flexible place. It has very positive coworkers and management which is flexible when it comes to days off.
I recommend it to anyone, especially high school students, as it's an excellent starter job.
Pros
free and tasty lunch, flexible hours, decent payment, zomick's challah
Cons
no breaks, can be a lot of work

Productive workplace with different tasks for each day
Bakery Clerk (Former Employee) - New York, NY - December 8, 2017
Zomick's bakery is great place for first time workers. You don't receive the best hours and pays minimum wage. But, great co-workers and the management is okay for the most part.
It is always busy around the bakery so there's always something to do.
Pros
Friendly clean working atmosphere, great co-workers
Cons
Short breaks
